This bowl weighs 2Kg so is not a flimsy piece of pottery by any means. It is essentially a large pinch pot which I hand built a while ago and then left on a shelf in the studio where I have admired it ever since but not listed as it was so substantial I was worried about posting it. 

However we have some sturdy packaging in and I am sure it would safely make its journey to be a welcome addition to your table. It is food safe, I have visions of Brussels sprouts with butter melting over them or crispy roast potatoes, waiting to be served. 

It is crying out to become a family heirloom and is so tactile with all the finger press marks in evidence it feels like it has been part of the family forever. 

Each finger press, and each sponge dab of glaze was intentionally and lovingly made by me and I hope someone will find a place in their kitchen for this homely bowl.
